Google to Host July 24 Event With Sundar Pichai

Google has sent out invites for a July 24 event in San Francisco, hosted by Sundar Pichai, senior vice president for Android and Chrome at Google. The invite doesn’t provide any clues about what will be unveiled, but we’re hearing there will be news on both the Android and Chrome fronts. Google didn’t release a new version of Android at I/O, but sources said further updates weren’t far off. The event kicks off at 9 am PT. AllThingsD will be on-site, and Google will also livestream the event on its YouTube channel.
