RIM Delays Launch of Next PlayBook OS Until February
Research In Motion Ltd. delayed the launch of the next version of its PlayBook operating system until February, the latest in a series of product delays for the BlackBerry maker.
Waterloo, Ontario-based RIM made the announcement in a blog posting late Tuesday.
RIM executives had originally signaled that its next tablet version, dubbed BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0, would be available sometime this month.
