Flash Sale Site Fab.com Lands $200 Million Valuation

Newly public Internet companies are having a tough time on the stock market this fall, but that hasn’t stopped venture capitalists from making some big bets on start-ups.

Case in point: investors led by venture firm Andreessen Horowitz have just plowed $40 million into flash-sale website Fab.com Inc. The round values New York-based Fab.com at more than $200 million, people familiar with the matter said.
