Groupon Tumbles as Sell Restriction Expires

Shares of daily-deals Web site Groupon Inc. fell to a record low Friday as a restriction on insider selling expired.

Groupon GRPN traded down 9 percent to close at $9.69 in heavy volume as the broader market also retreated on disappointing jobs data. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 2.8 percent to close at 2,747.
