Crowdsourcing Ad Maker Poptent Raises $5.5 Million From MK Capital
Poptent, which produces video advertising by farming out assignments to a network of 50,000 semi-pro producers, has raised a $5.5 million round led by MK Capital. The VC also led Poptent’s $3 million round in 2010; the company says it has paid out $5 million to its contributors since 2008.
