Verizon Q2 Numbers Hit Wall Street Estimates

Verizon delivered the Q2 results that analysts were expecting this morning: Earnings of 64 cents a share on revenue of $28.6 billion. The company said its wireless unit added 888,000 net customers, compared to the 666,000 consensus, but Wall Street would still like something else — shares are down 1 percent in pre-market trading.
