Done Deal: 10 Weeks Later, Salesforce.com Owns Buddy Media

Ten weeks after announcing the deal, Salesforce.com has completed its $750 million acquisition of social marketing service Buddy Media, according to people familiar with the companies. The prospect of closing the transaction quickly helped Salesforce beat a rival bid from Google.
