Mitt Romney Goes Viral

From the “how not to win at YouTube” files: Mitt Romney’s now-infamous talk to a group of Republican donors is the new “Gangnam Style,” minus the dancing, the K-Pop and the obtuse visual metaphors.

Web video tracker/ad network Visible Measures says that excerpts from the chat, and responses to the chat, have generated two million views in the last day. As BuzzFeed explains this morning, elements of the speech have floated around the Web for months. But it didn’t break big until it got a push from Mother Jones.
