Foxconn Confirms Two Disputes Between Employees
TAIPEI—Foxconn Technology Group, the parent of Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., a major Apple Inc. supplier, said Saturday two disputes between employees occurred at one of its China manufacturing plants this month.
The Taiwanese firm said it has taken steps to address the disputes that took place on Oct. 1-2, amid a week-long holiday commemorating China’s national day, between a small group of production-line workers and quality-assurance personnel at its Zhengzhou plant in north-central China.
“There has been no workplace stoppage in that facility or any other Foxconn facility and production has continued on schedule,” Foxconn, which has 1.2 million employees in China, said in a statement.
