Thomas Hesse, Bertelsmann’s Top Digital Exec, Steps Down

Thomas Hesse, the executive in charge of Bertelsmann’s business development and digital ventures, is leaving the company. The German media giant says Hesse won’t be replaced, and that CEO  Thomas Rabe will assume his responsibilities. Hesse joined Bertelsmann in 2012; he had previously overseen Sony Music’s digital operations.
