Sprinklr, a social media management platform that works with both Twitter and Facebook, announced on Tuesday it has raised $17.5 million in a series C round of funding. The new funds come from previous investors Battery Ventures and Intel Capital, bringing the total amount of money raised to date to $37.5 million.
News ByteSprinklr, a social media management startup, announced Tuesday that it had secured $15 million in its series B round from Battery Ventures and Intel Capital. The company, which has been dubbed one of Twitter’s “Certified Product Partners,” had already raised $5 million from Battery Ventures last year.
News BytemFoundry, has been acquired by FIS, which already owned a 22 percent stake in the company. FIS said it will pay $120 million in cash for the remaining stake, meaning the entire deal was worth around $165 million. Other investors in the nine-year-old company include MasterCard, Intel Capital, Motorola Mobility, PayPal, Bank of America and Ignition Partners. MFoundry had 850 clients, many of which were banks that deployed the company’s technology inside of their mobile apps.
