Apple Gearing Up to Take iTunes Match Live?

Looks like the public launch of Apple’s iTunes Match may finally be in the offing.

In an email to developers testing the pre-release beta of the service, which allows people to remotely access the songs in their private collections, Apple said that it’s going to wipe their matched libraries once again as it gears up to take the service live.

“As we prepare for the launch of iTunes Match, we will be deleting all current iCloud libraries on Saturday, November 12th at 10 AM PST,” the company said.

Apple missed the promised end-of-October launch date for iTunes Match and hasn’t yet provided a new ETA. But the wording in this note suggests that it may not be that far off.
