Sprint Nextel Corp.’s second-quarter loss widened on costs related to its Nextel network shutdown and continued subscriber losses.
Shares were trading 6.8 percent higher at $3.60 premarket as the wireless carrier’s revenue grew more than expected. The stock has fallen 35 percent over the past year through Wednesday’s close.
