A New Europe for Telecoms?

Neelie Kroes, the European Union’s commissioner in charge of telecoms, doesn’t shy away from a scrap. When the Dutchwoman was the EU’s competition chief, she was known as ‘Steely Neelie’ and her Twitter bio tells us she’s “fighting like hell for an EU you can believe in.”

In Dublin today, she gave some more hints about what the EU’s new Single Market Package for telecoms could look like when it lands this summer ahead of the discussion among EU leaders at their October summit.
