Live Nation Pushes Out President at Ticketmaster
Live Nation Entertainment Inc. has pushed out top executive Nathan Hubbard, who has run the company’s Ticketmaster division since 2010, according people familiar with the matter.
A Live Nation spokeswoman declined to comment. Mr. Hubbard didn’t return requests for comment.
Different people close to the situation offered different explanations for the move. Some said it was because of a long-running power struggle with Live Nation Chief Executive Michael Rapino. Others attributed it to the company’s desire to find a Ticketmaster president with a deeper background in technology and management than Mr. Hubbard, who started his career as a singer-songwriter, and later earned an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
