Fresh Direct Goes to Greenwich

Over the past eight years, Fresh Direct, the online grocery purveyor, has become a household name across the five boroughs. Now it is expanding into Connecticut and deeper into Westchester County, N.Y.

On Tuesday, the Long Island City-based company is expected to announce that it will immediately begin delivering to four communities near Greenwich, Conn. and twelve communities in Westchester County, N.Y.

In addition to New York City, Fresh Direct already delivers to parts of Westchester and several counties in New Jersey. In the summer, it also delivers to parts of the Hamptons.
