A Web Whodunnit: BurstNet, Blogetery.com and the Case of the 70,000 Missing Blogs

A weird tale from the edges of the Internet: Blogetery.com, which runs a Web publishing platform used by some 70,000 blogs, has been shut down by hosting service BurstNet, which won’t say why it did so. But an email from BurstNet to Blogetery’s operator indicates that “law enforcement officials” were involved, which raises all sorts of questions. CNET is on the case.
