Here’s the Most Popular Image From Getty’s Flickr Collection

Two years ago Getty and Flickr teamed up to to funnel photographers and the work they posted on Yahoo’s popular photo gallery into Getty’s professional shop. Now there are 250,000 photos in that collection. And Getty says this one from, Michael Bodge, is its best seller:

Alas, Getty won’t say how many copies of this one it has sold. And it won’t provide any other details about the collection’s performance, like the number of photos it has licensed in the last two years, or the amount of money it has generated, or the way that money is split between photographers, Yahoo and Getty. So we’ll just end here.
